This Could Be Huge!

This could be great news for Modern Warfare Gamers on the PS4/5 and xBox1.
While we wait for H-Hour... if it ever gets here... and with the new WW2 Battlefield V coming this Fall and with BF1 and CoD WW2 out now... both crap games in my opinion... at least we have some hope for a great new War Shooter. If MW4 includes any Clan Support with Custom User Private Servers... MW4 will be pure GOLD!

Call of Duty: WWII review—The less things change…
Stripping out years of feature creep, but doesn't have anything to replace it.
Steven Strom - 11/8/2017, 2:00 PM
Call of Duty: WWII certainly has some interesting timing. It has the dubious duty of returning the landmark first-person series to its titular roots at a time when any game centered on fascism, nationalism, and especially Nazism …

Disappointing limitation for War mode
|
Wed Jun 14, 2017 9:18 am by RedKnight |
This news from E3 is not good... but it might get better before game launch. If this doesn't get better (6 vs 6 for Clans?)... CoD WW2 won't be workable for larger online War Clans like us. Time will tell.
Call of Duty: WWII reveals a disappointing limitation for War mode
If you were expecting big-team battles, you might be a little disappointed.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare GAMEPLAY - IS IT GOOD?
|
Fri Jul 01, 2016 9:39 am by RedKnight |
Battlefield 1 looks like a BF4 remake. I have lots of issues at present. Maybe after BF1 is out for a few weeks... I could change my mind. But I have to find at a new game for SoF that has good Clan Support and good Clan controllable Private Servers. And EA/DICE seems to have left that world behind after BF3. So... we'll see.
Cod Infinite Warfare has been taking a beating on …

Consumer version of Oculus Rift won't make you sick, 4K version to come
By Jake Smith 18 October 2013
LINK
Early Oculus Rift users quickly noted experiencing motion sickness after using the gaming headset. It's something we felt at CES 2013, too. But according to Oculus VR CEO Brendan Iribe, the consumer version of the headset will completely get rid of any motion sickness for every user.
Speaking at the Gaming Insiders Summit Thursday in San Francisco, Iribe said: “It is going to work. It’s gonna work for everybody,” according to AllThingsD.
Iribe also said he felt motion sick when using his own Oculus headset. "I've gotten sick every time I've tried it," the executive said. "Every time until recently. In the last few weeks, I stayed in it for 45 minute sessions and I did not get sick with the new prototype. We are at the edge of bringing you no motion sickness content."
The CEO also touched on future iterations of the headset, noting it will eventually pack a 4K display. “You can’t imagine what it’s going to look like when it’s 4K,” he said. “It’s not now, but it’s coming.” Additionally, he noted future versions of the Oculus may work with big name consoles like the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
"There’s no technical reason that the Rift can’t work on consoles," founder Palmer Luckey said in May. "It has standard input/outputs, it wouldn’t be a lot of work. It’s just a matter of console manufacturers deciding to licence it as a peripheral. They’re the gatekeepers."

Out of the mouth, of an IDIOT!!!

This is how to make sure... your new VR Headset fails in the marketplace!!! PC and Mobile Phone sales only.... will not be enough to make the Oculus Rift a success.
At first... the Oculus Rift will sell to a niche audience. People will not sit at an airport or in their home wearing the Oculus Rift to play a game on their iPhone. Most PC players will continue to use their expensive game screens. But the Next-Gen console players always look for new ways to play their games. A VR headset with a new PS4 or xBox1... would sell very nicely! And considering most gamers... play their games for 1 to 5 hours at a time... there's your VR headset buyers!!
I hope this idiot sees, in time, that including the PS4 and xBoxOne for the Oculus Rift, will keep his company in business.

Oculus Rift Won’t Make It To Next-Gen Consoles Because They Are Too ‘Limitied’
Nov 14, 2013 by Patrick Dane
There is a growing circle of developers and gamers that believe that the Oculus Rift is the future of gaming. Virtual reality has been a pipe-dream for many gamers ever since the early 1990s when the technology became a neat parlour attraction. In the past, the experience never quite matched the concept and it was literally headache inducing. Now that technology has caught up, it appears that worthwhile VR might finally be within gamer’s grasps with the Oculus Rift.
The headset is capable of high definition 3D at 60 fps (maybe even 4K) and despite only having developer kits available, it already has several impressive experience available for the device. It has been stated in the past that the VR headset will be used for PC and mobile devices, but what about next-gen consoles?
According to the Rift’s inventor, Palmer Luckey, that is unlikely. Talking to TechRadar, Luckey said that the Oculus Rift won’t make an appearance on next-gen since the device is going to be continually upgraded and the nature of consoles is “too limited.” Luckey explained:
- Quote :
- “The problem with consoles in general is that once they come out they’re locked to a certain spec for a long, long time. Look at the PCs that existed eight years ago. There have been so many huge advances since then. Now look at the VR hardware of today. I think the jump we’re going to see in the next four or five years is going to be massive, and already VR is a very intensive thing, it requires rendering at high resolutions at over 60 frames a second in 3D.”
Luckey went on to explain that at the rate that mobile devices are growing and how far their processing power has come in the last few years, it won’t be long until they are more powerful than even the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
- Quote :
- “So when you have VR hardware that’s getting better every year and mobile processing power that’s getting better every year, it won’t be too many years before you can get a much better experience than a console in a headset that has everything built into it and is still cheaper than a console.”
While this may disappoint those who were hoping to enjoy the Oculus Rift on their next-gen consoles there is some respite. All indications show that Sony is indeed working on their own virtual reality headset and it isn’t too hard to imagine Microsoft being on their tails. VR is about to come back in a big way and major publishers are unlikely to want to miss a bite at the cherry.
Are you excited for VR gaming? Do you think it could be the future of gaming? Let us know, down below.
