New Battlefield 4 videos show assault rifles, machine guns, more
A new set of videos show off the different assault rifles, machine guns, and other weapons found in the game.

A couple of new Battlefield 4 videos have been released by the community, who had exclusive access to the game and the ability to record their gameplay. The videos go into detail on many of the the assault rifles, the machine guns, submachine guns, and other weapons in the game.

The videos show the guns both as they appear in the menus with all their accessories, and as they appear in the game, when actually used on the battlefield. We also get to see the different scopes and attachments in action as well.

So far, Battlefield 4 features 11 assault rifles, 10 machine guns, 8 SMGs (or Personal Defense Weapons), alongside the other weapons. More weapons will be released as part of DLC in the future. Check out the videos below. Finally, the last video shows a walkthrough of the attack boats in the game, with all of its unlocks and features.

We’ve got some brand new videos that take an in-depth look at the Support and Engineer class in Battlefield 4. The new BF4 videos show in detail some of the new gadgets the Support class has, such as the new remote Mortar, and the XM25 grenade launcher. In Battlefield 4, players can deploy the mortar, and operate it remotely from anywhere on the map. If you thought the mortar in BF3 was annoying, we can’t begin to think what kind of raping will ensure with a dozen remotely operated mortars.

She second BF4 video shows the rocket launchers in action, which include the SMAW, SRAW, RPG-7V2, MBT LAW, Javelin, and the two anti air missile launchers: the Stinger and Igla. The game features 5 rocket launchers and two anti air launchers.

The video gives a good explanation on the different rocket launchers, which have seen some changes. For example, the Javelin is no longer a “fire and forget” launcher — you have to stay on target the whole time. Finally, there is also a Battle Pickup rocket launcher, called the Starstreak. It can attack both air and ground targets.

Battlefield 4 – Almost Four Hours of Uncut Paracel Storm Gameplay

In case you haven’t seen enough of the jaw-dropping Battlefield 4 footage that came out of this year’s Gamescom and from other EA community events, YouTube personality LevelCapGaming has done us the favor of uploading almost four hours of uncut Battlefield 4 gameplay on the map Paracel Storm in one single video.

It’s a great way to really take in the sights and sounds of Battlefield 4 without the commentary or editing. But before grabbing a cup of coffee and enjoying some unedited Battlefield 4 gameplay running a high-end gaming PC, take note of some of these interesting moments LevelCap indicated the description of his video:

Battlefield 4 “Flood Zone” Gameplay



Matt Cuttle speaks with the lead MP designer for Battlefield 4, Thomas Andersson, to see the DICE level editor first hand and get exclusive info on the Levolution of a brand new map -- Flood Zone.

The level editor shows the amount of detail and work that goes into each map. Combat hotspots have been recognised and the level design is suited accordingly. Each game mode is also carefully considered when it comes to placing objects such as vehicles and M-COMs.

In this new map, level design is based around the Levolution event. Dry narrow streets are ideal for land-based combat vehicles until the Levolution occurs and a nearby levee breaks, flooding the map.

The entire dynamic of the game changes, with a team overwhelmed on street level suddenly provided with a chance to mount a comeback. Land vehicles are no longer an option and only a select number of amphibious vehicles will be available. The battle is taken to the rooftops!
