As of 8/29/2019, Most of my current SoF Clan news for CoD Modern Warfare 2019 can be found on a friends SOCOMFANS website. New updates to be added here as needed.
This could be great news for Modern Warfare Gamers on the PS4/5 and xBox1.
While we wait for H-Hour... if it ever gets here... and with the new WW2 Battlefield V coming this Fall and with BF1 and CoD WW2 out now... both crap games in my opinion... at least we have some hope for a great new War Shooter. If MW4 includes any Clan Support with Custom User Private Servers... MW4 will be pure GOLD!
Call of Duty: WWII review—The less things change…
Stripping out years of feature creep, but doesn't have anything to replace it.

Call of Duty: WWII certainly has some interesting timing. It has the dubious duty of returning the landmark first-person series to its titular roots at a time when any game centered on fascism, nationalism, and especially Nazism …
CoD WW2 Fails At Multiplayer Game Play and more...

Sadly, this last attempt to gain my multiplayer favor pushed me away even more and I probably won’t touch the CoD series ever again...

This news from E3 is not good... but it might get better before game launch. If this doesn't get better (6 vs 6 for Clans?)... CoD WW2 won't be workable for larger online War Clans like us. Time will tell.
Call of Duty: WWII reveals a disappointing limitation for War mode
If you were expecting big-team battles, you might be a little disappointed.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare GAMEPLAY - IS IT GOOD?
Fri Jul 01, 2016 9:39 am by RedKnight
Battlefield 1 looks like a BF4 remake. I have lots of issues at present. Maybe after BF1 is out for a few weeks... I could change my mind. But I have to find at a new game for SoF that has good Clan Support and good Clan controllable Private Servers. And EA/DICE seems to have left that world behind after BF3. So... we'll see.
Cod Infinite Warfare has been taking a beating on …

NOTICE: (1.) IN THE VIDEO BELOW... THE COMMENTATOR SAYS YOU CAN NOT USE A LAPTOP FOR "COMMANDER MODE" USE ON THE CONSOLE PS4 VERSION OF BF4!!! THIS IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON THE PC VERSION OF BF4. I'M LOOKING FOR MORE DETAILS ON THIS NOW. THIS MIGHT ONLY BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE BETA VERSION OF BF4 RELEASED ON OCT. 1ST.
IF THIS IS TRUE FOR THE FINAL PS4 VERSION OF BF4, THIS IS A HUGE SCREW UP ON DICE'S PART.SEE THE 6:43 MINUTE MARK ON THE VIDEO BELOW.So far, this PS4/Commander Mode/PC laptop only usage... is still very confusing. DICE has always said that PS4 users can use COMMANDER MODE on iPads, laptops and some Smart Phones.
(2.) DICE SAYS THE PS4 VERSION OF BF4 WILL NOT HAVE SUPPORT FOR A KEYBOARD AND MOUSE!! ANOTHER HUGE SCREW UP ON DICE'S PART IF TRUE. THE PS4 WILL HAVE NATIVE SUPPORT FOR KEYBOARDS AND MICE BUILT IN!!! NO MICE OR KEYBOARD SUPPORT FOR THE PS4:

All Battlefield 4 Game Modes Detailed
David Veselka September 26, 2013
LINK
Inching closer to its October 29 launch date, Battlefield 4 developers DICE are slowly spilling everything there is to know about the game.
Earlier today, we learned about all 10 maps that will be featured in Battlefield 4′s multiplayer and caught our fist glimpse of each. Now DICE is talking game modes, revealing all seven that will be playable in the game at launch, two of which you’ll get your first taste of during the official Battlefield 4 beta, happening this October 1.
So, courtesy of the latest Battlefield Blog update, let’s take a look at all seven Battlefield 4 multiplayer game modes.
Battlefield 4 Game Modes
_____________________
Conquest (Playable in the Battlefield 4 Beta)
Combat type: The definitive Battlefield mode – All-out vehicle warfare mixed with intense infantry action across land, air and sea
Designed for: 24 players (X360, PS3) / 64 players (Xbox One, PS4, PC)
Commander mode: Optional
Capture flags and lower the enemy’s ticket count to zero by eliminating soldiers.
_____________
Domination (Playable in the Battlefield 4 Beta)
Combat type: Fast-paced infantry variant of Conquest
Designed for: 20 players (all platforms)
Commander mode: No
The infantry-only version of Conquest played on a smaller scale.

_______________
Defuse
Combat type: Competitive close quarters combat
Designed for: 5 vs. 5 players (all platforms)
Commander mode: No
New mode. A competitive, infantry-only game mode where players with only one life must either eliminate the enemy team, or arm and detonate a military objective that they own. Teammates can be revived once per round.
______________
Team Deathmatch
Combat type: The classic shooter mode, Battlefield 4 style
Designed for: 20 players (all platforms)
Commander mode: No
As a team, reach the kill count limit before the other team does.
____________
Rush
Combat type: Fight deep into enemy territory by detonating their M-COM stations
Designed for: 24 players (X360, PS3) 32 players (Xbox One, PS4, PC)
Commander mode: Optional
An asymmetrical game mode where attackers must arm and destroy two objectives in various zones of the map, progressing further until victory is reached. Defenders must stop the attackers by lowering their ticket count to zero.
________________
Squad Deathmatch
Combat type: Four squads fight on the ground with limited vehicle support in a race to the top of the leaderboard
Designed for: 16 players (all platforms)
Commander mode: Optional
Similar to Team Deathmatch, but with four different quads competing against each other.
________________
We’re pretty excited about the classic modes like Conquest and Rush, but some of the new ones like the more competitive Defuse mode sound really interesting. What will you be hopping into first when you get your hands on Battlefield 4?

DICE: NO SUPPORT IN BF4, ON THE PS4 CONSOLE, FOR USING KEYBOARDS AND MICE.
This potentially could have a major impact for me playing BF4 on the PS4.
DICE has locked out any use of the SONY's MOVE Hand Controller in BF4. The PS3 MOVE will work with the PS4 and a new PS4 MOVE Controller is on the way. DICE called the MOVE controller a "Gimmick" and will not support it. Although DICE DID build in support for the Microsoft Kinect Camera and Motion Control in BF4. So I guess the "Kinect" is not a "Gimmick" according to DICE. Maybe Microsoft greased the hands at DICE with some extra cash... to make the NON-GIMMICK KINECT work with BF4!! SONY also has they new PS4 EYE Camera... and DICE has not stated if they will support the SONY EYE as of this date.
IF... DICE also locks out, any use of 3rd Party Accessories, such as the Splitfish Mouse and left hand Fragchuck... for game play in BF4... I MAY HAVE SECOND THOUGHTS OF OWNING AND PLAYING BF4 ON THE PS4! And I don't consider using BF4 on the PS3 as a workable option for the future. The PS4 is the future.
I use the Splitfish Mouse and Fragchuck now, on my PS3 for all game play in any game I choose.... as I HATE the Sony Hand Controller. I've always hated that damn toy Hand Controller on the PS2 and the PS3!!
Splitfish confirmed they will have a NEW PS4 SHARK Mouse and Fragchuck that will totally support the new PS4 coming out sometime in February 2014 or sooner. Splitfish is a licensed 3rd Party PS3 accessory manufacturer and their mice work perfectly with SONY's consoles. NOTE: There are several good 3rd Party Mice/Keyboard controllers, that the PS3 players can use now.
IF DICE BUILDS IN DETECTION... that senses if a player is using a MOUSE to play BF4 on the PS4 and LOCKS them out of the game play and insists that I use a Hand Controller to play BF4... I will not be a BF4 player! If SONY and Splitfish have native support for a Mouse and Fragchuck and DICE prohibits it's use... I'm done with Battlefield. If DICE takes this route... DICE and I will split paths!
I like BF3. I've liked what I've seen of BF4. But if DICE will now dictate to me how I have to play their new game on the PS4 and that I can't use a 3rd party controller of my choice... I'm done with Battlefield.
Now it seems... DICE won't have support on the PS4 to use a laptop on BF4 for a player in Commander Mode. It looks like you must be in the PC version of BF4 to use a laptop in Commander Mode for them to work together!! THIS IS ALL VERY CONFUSING AT THIS POINT... AND DICE ISN'T MAKING IT ANY CLEARER.
NOW... the PS4 version of BF4, still may be able to use an iPad or Smart Phone for Commander Mode. But at this time... I can't confirm if Commander Mode is a PC ONLY BF4 version option... and is not supported on the PS4.
DICE has stated that Commander Mode can be used on an iPad, laptop, Smart Phone AND ON THE PS4! On the PS4... you can use Commander Mode... but you can not also be an active player in the BF4 match. It might be one or the other only!
DID DICE LEAVE OUT A LITTLE FACT... THAT COMMANDER MODE ONLY WORKS FOR THE PC PLAYERS? AND SLIPPED UP ALSO SAYING "CONSOLES"?? I can't tell from the DICE video!! But the information from the first video in the first post seems to conflict with DICE's promotional video here!!
If it's true... a PS4 BF4 player can be in a BF4 match but can not use a laptop to use Commander Mode at the same time, or use the Battlelog BF4 Map view of the match at the same time (in a laptop browser view)... then DICE has deceived the PS4 console owners and is only giving that option to the BF4 PC computer players. If DICE knowingly lied about this to the PS4 owners of BF4... there will be a huge price to pay for that.
I'm asking any SoF member reading this... to search around for more information on these 2 confusing issues and see if this information is correct. Post any information you find and links in this thread please. I will continue to monitor this in the game news and on Battlelog.
I'd like to get these facts straight... before I post these issues on Battlelog for other players to read.
